The Path That Called Me Home
I’ve seen spirits, felt residual energy, and carried a deep sense of knowing for as long as I can remember. Paranormal experiences were just part of my childhood. Though sadly years of narcissistic abuse from family and partners disconnected me from my inner voice which I replaced with the voices of the narcissists in my life.
After an epic healing journey, I began to hear that inner wisdom again. That’s when the whispers started—soft but persistent: “Charleston.” At the time, I was living in Oakland, CA. My rational mind would have never chosen Charleston as a home for my weird, non-conformist self, but the whispers wouldn’t stop. So, I listened—and moved across the country.
The road trip felt like something out of a movie, packed with wild, paranormal activity that cracked me open to explore my psychic mediumship more deeply. Not long after, I began studying under a psychic medium who told me: “The symbol with an eye is going to be really important to you.”
They were right.
After settling in Charleston, my health took a terrifying turn. My face began to droop. My left leg stopped working—just for a while, but enough to scare me. A golf ball-sized lymph node appeared in my armpit. My short-term memory dissolved. Symptom after symptom piled up until I finally got an MRI.
The first doctor said I had a pineal cyst and should be asymptomatic. My intuition screamed otherwise—I knew something was seriously wrong. So I did my own research and discovered an article about a neurosurgeon who found many symptomatic pineal cysts were actually pineocytomas, a rare type of tumor. The article featured a pyramid with an eye three times and where was this neurosurgeon located? Charleston.
Less than a year after moving, I had brain surgery. I was back to work within a month.
That journey didn’t just save my life—it confirmed, without a doubt, the power of listening to my intuition. Even when it doesn’t make sense. Even when it costs everything. It’s worth it. Always.
